This story takes place in the 1930's Shanghai where Ho Yuan Chia, the founder of the Ching Wu Martial Arts Association, is reported to have died from a sudden illness. Chan Lun, Bruce Lee, Ho's most formidable student, hurries back from the country to attend his master's funeral. Being suspicious of the circumstances surrounding his teacher's untimely death, Chan starts an investigation. Which ends up in a violent confrontation against a Japanese martial art school.
When this film were released it broke all box office records throughout South East Asia, previously set by The Big Boss. As usual lots of great Kung Fu Action here. This is one of Lee's best efforts, the only film that tops this one is
in my opinion Way Of The Dragon. This is Kung Fu Action at it's best.
Called The Chinese Connection in the U.S.
